Conduit
of Hope
Rani,
17, is from a small village in Uttar Pradesh. Eldest of 8
siblings, school, to her,
remained a distant dream. Much against her wishes she was made the
home-maker and care-giver to the younger children from a very
tender age. But the yearning for education lingered on,
unsatiated.
A
visit to her aunt’s house in Madanpur Khadar, Delhi
has changed her life. She is now a regular and keen student at our
learning centre and tailoring centre.
Her
dream is noble and unique. She wants to get back to her village
and teach her friends in the village who have never been to
school, utilizing her own resources.
HOPE
SOMETIME

with confidence, courage and the precious and priceless Hope.
A
NEW CHAPTER HAS JUST BEGUN…….
A
Small Loan But a Big Difference
Dukha
Paswan, 46, is a native of village Bhairopatti in the Darbhanga
District of Bihar. His
meager income from a rented rickshaw was insufficient to provide
even two square meals to his family of 6 members. Impoverished and
hungry, their daughter’s marriage remained a distant dream.
Today,
with a rickshaw provided to him on loan from the project, he earns
an average of Rs.70 per day. His daughter is married. He has made
a small savings of Rs.2000. nutritious meals and medical cares are
now affordable to his family. He too has a dream – a brick
house for his family.
This
small step has to a large extent helped the family escape
exploitation by the rich landlords.
HOPE
CONQUERS POVERTY.
